  1. Combine sugar, honey, and corn syrup in a pot. Cook over medium heat to hard-ball stage (250°F / 121°C), stirring occasionally.
  2. Pour the hot syrup onto a greased surface. Let cool until you can handle it, then form into a thick ring shape.
  3. Dust hands and work surface generously with cornstarch. Stretch the ring, fold, and stretch again. Repeat 10-12 times until you have thousands of fine threads.
  4. Cut the threads into portions. Place chopped walnuts in the center and wrap the threads around them. Serve immediately.
