  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix flour, sugar, and baking powder in a bowl.
  2. Add egg and melted butter. Stir until you get a thick, smooth batter. Fold in half the chopped walnuts.
  3. Grease a mini muffin tin. Spoon 1 teaspoon batter in each cup, add ½ teaspoon red bean paste, then top with another teaspoon of batter.
  4. Press a walnut piece on top of each. Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Cool slightly and pop out of the mold. These are best served warm.
