  1. Clean the chicken inside and out. Place in a large pot with garlic, green onion, salt, and pepper. Fill with water to cover. Bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat to medium-low. Skim off foam. Simmer for 30 minutes.
  3. Add the potatoes. Continue cooking for 10 more minutes until the potatoes are tender and the chicken is fully cooked.
  4. Pull the chicken apart into pieces using tongs. Serve the broth and chicken together. Dip chicken pieces in mustard-vinegar sauce or gochujang.
