  1. Wash the garlic chives and cut into 2-inch pieces. Pat dry with paper towels.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, egg, water, and salt until smooth. Fold in the chives until evenly coated.
  3. Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Pour the batter in and spread flat into a thin circle. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the bottom is golden and crispy.
  4. Flip and cook the other side for 2-3 minutes. Slice into wedges and serve with soy sauce for dipping.
